Because
of its maritime climate and the warming effect of the Gulf Stream,
Cornwall is by far the mildest part of the UK in winter. Apparently
average winter temperatures are even warmer than they are in Nice.
OK
so it can still get cold, but with a choice of cosy cottages with
full central heating and log fires it really doesn't matter
Up until 9th November 2007
From 27th October to 9th November 2007
you may
arrive on any day of the week and stay for as many nights as you
require up until 9th November. If you stay beyond 9th November, your
booking needs to run to a Monday or Friday.
From 9th November 2007
Apart
from Christmas and February half term, the following will apply:
3
night breaks
commence
on a Friday
4 night breaks commence on a Monday
A week stay may commence on either a Monday or a Friday
If
you are worried about what there will be to do don't. The magnificent
coastline, pretty fishing villages and great pubs and restaurants
are still here. It's just the crowds that are missing. There are
also more and more attractions open throughout the winter, Eden,
Tate Gallery etc. So your biggest regret may be that you didn't
book for longer.
