Tredethick Turbine

We have always tried to run Tredethick in an environmentally responsible way and have scooped several prestigious national awards for our endeavours. Our latest environmental project has been the installation of our own Wind Turbine. It's been up and running since March 2010 thanks to an EU funded grant, the Rural Development Programme for England. It should allow us to produce around a quarter of all our electricity needs and at times we are even exporting into the grid!

It's out of sight and sound from the cottages, but a short walk across a couple of fields will take you right up to it for you to see, touch & even hug if you like. We love it and thinks it's beautiful and we're sure you will too.
