We are very keen that you get the most out of your stay with us. Below is an outline of activities on offer in our local vicinity, though located in Cornwall, you are surrounded by natural beauty and all the attractions you could wish for.

Walking:
As keen walkers ourselves we are able to provide you with all the information on the best walks in the area from sheltered wooded valleys to spectacular coastline and wild open moorland.

You can even walk from your front door around our award winning Farm Trail, which in turn links up with a public footpath to the river and onto the beautiful creekside village of Lerryn.

Detailed information on distance, walking time and services along the way is included for each walk within our information file. The file also contains Ordnance Survey maps for the whole of Cornwall.

Cycling:
There is a myriad of quiet country lanes right on our door step. These are perfect if you enjoy viewing lovely rolling countryside from a bike and the challenge of hilly climbs.  If you prefer more gentle child friendly cycling The Camel Trail & Pentewan Valley Trail are really close by. 

Children also love riding their bikes around the cottages and there's undercover storage on site.  So feel free to bring your bikes along, or you can hire them from the cycle trails.

Swimming:
We have an indoor heated swimming pool on site that enjoys stunning views over the Fowey valley. It is open from 6.30am until 10pm each day.

Fishing:
Cornwall is a fisherman’s delight, as you are never far away from river, sea or stillwater. The nearby river Fowey has an excellent reputation for Salmon with the added bonus that it stays open right up to 15 Dec and we're only 5 mins away from the best stretch.

We also have a trout lake on the farm, five minutes walk from your cottage, where you are welcome to fish.
